Recently as a class 5M has researched influential Black Americans of the past and present. Give your classmates a snapshot of your report! Who did you study? How have they made a difference in the world?
Well it's my honor to talk about the famous Black Americans! We are doing this project that we are writing about famous Black Americans. First we had to pick him/ her and then we wrote a paper about him/her. It was really cool because well I love writing papers and we got to express our writing through another person. (Who is famous!)
Who else is, Emily Sear P.S. It helps us learn for 6th grade!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought this project was very informational! Why, because I did Duke Ellington and I didn't even know who he was before. Now I know about him more and that he was really famous for his music piano playing! Kassidy Putchio
My project on Rosa Parks was really encouraging although I still find it hard to believe that some of the African American violence still happens in the south this project has an amazing outcome to it all though.
Oh yeah i did my project on Charlotte Forten. She was a teacher in the Civil War. She was not teaching in the north, but in the south. She always was smart and also during the Civil War she was a nurse.
Who else is, Emily Sear P.S. That was a shorten version of my report.
Good Job! They say: We study history to avoid repeating past mistakes. You, as fifth graders, are our future. Keep up the good work and the future will only get brighter.
Thanks Mrs. Moore, we have worked very hard on our reports! Also Miss Moore and Miss Murray I have a question, can we do a report on someone we admire?
When we first started African Americans and slavery unit i was sort of uncomfortable until Lizzy helped me relax and always reminded me those times were over and she made me feel better thanks lizbob
